Reaction Mechanism:
When the surface of titanium dioxide (TiO2) is exposed by the UV£¼388nm light ,its inner will stir up hole-electron pair ,and the hole-electron pair will quickly remove to its surface and activate absorbed oxygen and moisture and occur free radicals (-OH ) and (-O2£).At the moment ,chain degradation reaction occurs between the free radicals and kinds of contaminant and ado each other .For strong oxidation ,the photocatalyst can realize the function of anti-bacteria by destroying the cell membrane.
